Gridpoint products are a line of Intelligent Renewable Energy Management Appliances. These products are very unique and are an integral part of the current Green movement towards energy saving, conservation, and awareness. The basic concept of the appliance is to store energy from a renewable source, such as solar, wind, etc., and then shed the power grid load to utilize the stored energy. In addition to this, it can be directed to store power at off peak, less expensive times, and then direct it's use to a higher demand, more expensive time, thus saving the user money on their power bill. As a bonus, it acts as an emergency power back-up for items such as refrigerators, freezers, and other vital devices.
